VIDEO: Sam Ehlinger Throws 53-Yard Dime to Extend Texas' Lead Over Rice

The Texas Longhorns are looking to get back into the win column with a victory against Rice and Sam Ehlinger is making sure they get off to a good start. After taking a 7-0 lead, the Longhorns had the ball at midfield. That was enough for their star QB, as he dropped an absolute dime to Jake Smith for a 53-yard score.

He placed that ball perfectly in front of Smith who simply had to not break stride in order to wind up in the end zone.
Ehlinger and the Longhorns are relentless, and they already struck twice in the first quarter. They'll look to build on the lead as the game continues, and Ehlinger appears to be in line for a monster outing.
