VIDEO: Seahawks’ Trick Play Goes Completely Wrong as Josh Gordon Throws Interception
By Sean Facey
The Seattle Seahawks got just a little too cute for their own good against the Carolina Panthers. Already up by 10 points late in the third quarter, Pete Carroll decided to bust out a trick play to get the first down. But the play went horribly awry, resulting in Josh Gordon throwing an interception into double coverage.
You'd always rather have Josh Gordon catch than throw, that's what I always say!
It was an interesting choice to bust this play out just six yards away from the first down in their opponent's territory. Gordon and Carroll will both be kicking themselves watching this one on film.
