VIDEO: Sean Rodriguez Calls Out 'Entitled' Phillies Fans in Postgame After Hitting Walk-Off Homer
By Adam Weinrib

Though a walk-off homer is generally a momentous occasion for the man drilling it, whoever he may be, utility man Sean Rodriguez capped off a see-saw game on Monday night at Citizens Bank by addressing the Philly faithful, and taking them to task for the way they treated him. Rodriguez's reaction, when asked if he had a message for the fans who've critical of his stay in the City of Brother Love, paints the picture pretty clearly.

Ready for action from the start, Rodriguez opens with, "Who's looking bad and feeling entitled when you hear stuff like that? I'm asking you."
"They're saying pretty disgusting things, at times. That seems pretty entitled. You're just making yourself look...pretty bad," he continues, in a speech that surely will endear him further to the city's layperson.
In fact, Philly already seems to be taking it well, circulating this alternate clip.

Rodriguez claims he gets his motivation by playing for the "good" fans, the ones behind home plate who tell him, "Keep doing your thing, Sean." Even in a utopia, is that...is that a kind of person who exists? Rodriguez is one of the final men on the Phillies roster, and seems to have met his fair share of aggression this season. Unfortunately, he picked an inopportune time generally reserved for celebration to let loose.
