VIDEO: Slow-Mo of Rockies CF David Dahl's Gruesome Leg Injury Against Giants is Tough to Watch
By Mark Powell

The outfield finally opened for David Dahl this season, giving him an opportunity to shine for the Colorado Rockies. He's done that and then some, entering Friday's action with an average over .300 and a 2019 All-Star bid to boot. That makes this gruesome injury suffered while Dahl tried to run down a ball in center field all the more brutal to watch.

Dahl had to be carted off the field, and it appears to be a serious leg injury after he leg bent the wrong way and was caught under him. Dahl's status moving forward is at this time unknown, and the Rockies slip in the standings is likely to continue if his absence is anything more than short-term.
We'll update Dahl's status with more information when it become available.
