VIDEO: Someone Made Megan Rapinoe in Madden and She Kicks Ass

With the Women's World Cup over and the NWSL season still not fully in high gear, we may have seen the last of United States Women's National Team superstar Megan Rapinoe in the headlines for a little while. That is, unless she gives the NFL a shot. Someone put Pinoe through the ringer on Madden as the San Francisco 49ers' kicker and punter, and she unsurprisingly dominated the virtual gridiron just like she dominated the pitch in France.

With the NWSL season slated to end in late September, Rapinoe has a fallback option if she wants to try her luck. Based on the way that World Cup went in France, I wouldn't put anything past her (or any member of the women's team) at this point.

While Rapinoe was born up north in Redding, Calif., smack in the heart of 49ers country, her Reign FC teammates and fans out in Tacoma, Wash. might be a little unnerved at the sight of their hero in full 49ers red and gold. But for now, we'll certainly take it.
