VIDEO: Someone Made the Myles Garrett-Mason Rudolph Incident Into a Christmas Ornament
By Scott Rogust
There has been no hotter rivalry in the NFL this season than the Cleveland Browns and Pittsburgh Steelers. Their first matchup of the season ended in chaos, with Browns defensive end Myles Garrett hitting Steelers quarterback Mason Rudolph in the head with his own helmet. The incident has been subjected to various forms of parody and recreation. We can now add another to the list in the form of a Christmas ornament.
Just look at the amount of detail in the decoration. From the custom jerseys on the dolls, to a yellow flag lying on the turf beside them.
This is an incident that will be discussed for a long time in the rivalry between the two AFC North teams.
The ornament is now just another piece of this heated beef between the AFC North rivals. A week after the brawl, Browns fans mocked the incident by hitting a Mason Rudolph piñata with a Steelers helmet. Not to mention the "Cleveland Started It" and "Pittsburgh Started It" t-shirts, with the latter getting Browns head coach Freddie Kitchens in hot water with the mainstream media.
It just goes to show that not even the holidays are safe from a sports rivalry.
