The last thing anyone wants to see is South Carolina quarterback Ryan Hilinski go down with a serious injury. Unfortunately on Saturday against No. 3 Georgia, a UGA lineman tripped on a tackle's foot and dove right into the back of Hilinski's leg/knee. As you can see in the video below, the freshman signal caller was in a ton of pain as he laid on the turf:

Though Hilinski was hit low, you can tell clearly in the video this was not intentional on the Bulldogs' defender's part. It was just unlucky.
However, Hilinski has left the game and is not expected to return. Fortunately, he wasn't carted off the field and was even seen standing on the sidelines shortly after the hit, offering up words of encouragement to his teammates.
Ryan Hilinski, iced-up left leg and limping badly, pulls himself off the bench and walks over to huddle to offer encouraging words.

The entire Hilinski family has been an inspiration for the college football community following the death of Ryan's older brother Tyler by suicide. The Hilinski clan has started the 'Hilinski's Hope Foundation', which is driven to educate and destigmatize mental illness.
With the younger Hilinski on the sidelines, QB Dakereon Joyner has taken over the offense.
