VIDEO: Starling Marte Just Swung at the Worst Pitch of All Time From Dodgers' Hyun-jin Ryu

Starling Marte is one of the better hitters in baseball, but every good player can be made look foolish by a pitch. Well, it wasn't necessarily the movement on this pitch that made Marte look silly, he did that on his own accord by swinging the bat. This pitch was incredibly far outside, yet the Pirates outfielder decided to take a hack nonetheless.

That honestly might have been two full home plates away from the strike zone.

The pitch was never going to be a strike, nor was it even remotely close. While it certainly tailed away from Marte at the end, it was clearly heading for the opposite batter's box from the moment it left his hand.

Pretty embarrassing stuff.
