VIDEO: Steve Kerr Totally Nails Half Court Shot Before Game 5 Like it's Nothing
By Jerry Trotta
Before Steve Kerr was leading the Golden State Warriors to FIVE straight appearances in the NBA Finals, he was one of the most prolific marksmen of his generation. The five-time NBA champion boasts a 45.4% clip from deep over 15 seasons and led the league in three-point shooting percentage in both 1989 and 1994. Fast forward 16 years, however, and the 53-year-old Kerr amazingly still has the touch from distance. Only this time, he drilled an underhanded half court shot during the Warriors' Monday afternoon shootaround ahead of Game 5.
Nothing. But. Net.
That picture-perfect rotation really is something to behold, especially in slow-mo.
A loss tonight ends Golden State's quest at a three-peat, but Kerr was as cool as a cucumber hours before tip-off. What else would you expect?
