The Tennessee Volunteers were in danger of losing to Indiana in the Gator Bowl. Less than a minute later, the comeback was complete when Eric Gray raced for a 16-yard touchdown.

Indiana was not prepared, and thus did not make much of an effort to recover the onside kick. That forced a tired defense right back onto the field, giving Tennessee a happy ending to an otherwise tough season.
