Tennessee Volunteers head football coach Jeremy Pruitt didn't have a lot of wins in his first season in Knoxville, but he got a big one on Saturday after his response to a new student radio reporter, who happened to be from Brazil. The student apologized for his English-speaking skills after asking a question, and Pruitt did his best to make the young fella feel comfortable.

With a grin on his face, Pruitt responded by saying, "Nah it's OK. Have you heard my English?" Pruitt is from Alabama, so you can imagine there are a few pronunciations on his end that have perplexed others before.

Pruitt making this guy feel welcome and at ease in the moment is the kind of media interaction we need between subjects and reporters. You can bet he's not going to be as fearful when asking well-known figures questions in the future thanks to Pruitt's comedic reinforcement.

Well done, sir.
