VIDEO: Texans Stun Saints With Late Deshaun Watson TD Strike to Kenny Stills
By Michael Luciano
Never count out the Houston Texans when they have Deshaun Watson back there. Needing some late magic against the New Orleans Saints, Watson needed just two plays to give them the lead, as he first found DeAndre Hopkins with a chunk play that got them on New Orleans' side of the field. He fellowed that up with a beautiful throw to brand new Texan Kenny Stills. His fourth total touchdown of the game tied the game at 27.
After kicker Ka'imi Fairbairn missed an extra point, a roughing the kicker call on rookie safety Chauncey Gardner-Johnson waved it off, and Fairbairn made it 28-27. Unfortunately, the Saints would escape this one with a walk-off win on a 58-yard field goal. But Houston surely showed that they've got some fight in them.
