With all the controversy over the place of on-field displays of emotion in baseball, let's turn our eyes to the college softball world, where Texas pitcher Miranda Elish has been both dominant and entertaining during her school's run through the College Softball World Series.

After every strikeout, Elish screams her heart out as the batter sullenly trots back to the dugout.
It's actually amazing that she still has her voice considering how efficient she's been in racking up punchouts.
29 innings in 29 hours. 429 pitches. 31 Ks.@elish_miranda was a beast in the circle this past weekend to send @TexasSoftball to the Super Regionals. She showcased her pitches with @MeganJoWllis ahead of the NCAA Austin Regional. pic.twitter.com/nDgNu17TNT

In one 29-hour stretch, Elish recorded a ridiculous 31 strikeouts for the Longhorns.
She's even been killing it at the plate.
We're pretty sure Miranda Elish is superhuman after her performance this weekend. ?♀️#NCAASoftball | @TexasSoftball pic.twitter.com/h1tegpglO4

She's playing with passion and absolutely steamrolling everything in her path, leading the Longhorns to the NCAA Super Regional. The junior star helped Texas to four straight wins in the Austin Regional by throwing 429 pitches in 29 innings. That's absolutely incredible, especially since Texas lost its first game and needed to win out to move on.
