Tragedy struck yesterday, as the world lost an NBA legend in Kobe Bryant at the young age of 41. Bryant was on a helicopter with his daughter, Gianna, and seven other passengers when the helicopter crashed into a Calabasas hillside and ignited a brush fire, perishing everyone on board.

Kobe was one-of-a-kind on the court with his tenacity, unwillingness to fail and, above all else, his Mamba mentality, something that become synonymous with unprecedented hard work in whatever someone did.

He became the face we first thought of when you would say "clutch" and the first name people knew even if they didn't follow the NBA. His countless game-winners, as seen above, were always heart-stopping.

Bryant's legacy will live on for his incredible ability to take over games on the court and do everything in his power to win a game, single-handedly. He was unstoppable when he drove to the basket, superiorly quick, tricky off the dribble and unfathomably competitive no matter the occasion.
