VIDEO: Tom Brady and Danny Amendola Reunion at Patriots-Lions Practice Brings up All the Feels
By Sean Facey
The New England Patriots and Detroit Lions started their joint practices on Monday. It was pretty much inevitable that Patriots quarterback Tom Brady was going to stop by and chat with former teammate and current Lions wide receiver Danny Amendola, but no amount of expectations could have stopped their reunion from giving Patriots fans feelings of nostalgia.
Seeing the two standing together and chatting out on the gridiron brings up plenty of memorable moments that they forged together while they were both on the Patriots.
Brady and Amendola were teammates from 2013 to 2017, and though they proved to be a fine pairing in the regular season, the veterans seemed to be reading each other's minds every postseason.
In 13 games together, they totaled 709 yards and 6 touchdowns through the air. Amendola finished his playoff career in New England with a 70.4% catch percentage and two Super Bowl victories.
Seeing the two of them together again brings up fond memories of what once was. Perhaps sometime later in the week they might even toss the ball around to really hit the fans where it hurts.
