VIDEO: Tom Brady Shows No Sign of Calf Injury at Patriots' Thursday Practice
By Karl Rasmussen
Tom Brady had his name pop up on the Patriots injury report this week with an apparent calf issue ahead of the team's Week 3 divisional clash with the New York Jets. Well, TB12 was back to work on Thursday, and he showed no signs of an ailment to his calf while going through drills.
In the video provided by Jim McBride of the Boston Globe, Brady can be seen doing high-knee warmup runs and jogging without a hitch in his step.
This is certainly an encouraging sign for the Patriots, as this pretty much confirms that Brady's injury was not only minor, but will most likely not hold him out of full participation in Sunday's AFC East rivalry game.
It seems as if the reigning champs were just exercising caution with their star quarterback, and considering he's still getting the job done at age 42, there's no reason to overwork him.
Pats fans should fully expect to see No. 12 under center on Sunday as the Patriots enter Week 3 as massive favorites over the injury-riddled Jets.
