VIDEO: Tommy Kahnle Angrily Smashes His Glove in Yankees' Dugout After Giving up 2-Run Shot
By Karl Rasmussen
Tommy Kahnle is fresh off of winning July's Reliever of the Month honors, but it looks like his success hasn't translated into August. Relieving Masahiro Tanaka with a two-run lead, Kahnle was tasked with shutting down the Orioles in the sixth inning. Unfortunately he failed to do so, surrendering a two-run shot to Jonathan Villar, and he couldn't contain his emotions after returning to the Yankees' dugout.
After pointing at and exchanging some words with Villar while he rounded the bases, the clearly frustrated Kahnle proceeded to the dugout where he viciously smashed his glove.
Poor tub of bubblegum, it didn't do anything to deserve such cruel treatment!
