VIDEO: Tommy Pham Gives Rays Win in 10th Inning With Walk-off RBI Single Against Orioles

Even though they have sputtered lately, Kevin Cash and the Tampa Bay Rays continue to fight and claw for a spot in the 2019 MLB playoffs. Against a division rival in the Baltimore Orioles, Tommy Pham played the hero Monday, ripping an RBI single off of rookie reliever Dillon Tate to give the Rays a 5-4 win in the 10th inning.

RBI No. 59 on the season for Pham had to feel just a bit sweeter than the rest.
Despite the lack of a power-hitter in the middle of the order or a fantastic bullpen, the Rays continue to use their analytic driven approach to steal wins away from good and bad teams like as they try to hold on to a playoff spot.
This win brings them to 81-58 on the year, the first time since 2010 that they have reached this benchmark.

If Pham keeps coming through in the clutch, don't be surprised if Tampa makes some noise in the postseason.
