VIDEO: Trea Turner Launches Solo Shot to Extend Nationals' Lead Over Phillies

The Washington Nationals are looking to put some distance between themselves and the rest of the pack in the 2019 NL Wild Card race, and Trea Turner is taking matters into his own hands to further that end. Turner blasted home run No. 17 on the season off of Philadelphia Phillies pitcher Zach Eflin, giving the Nationals a 3-0 lead in the third inning.

Turner joined Yan Gomes and Adam Eaton in parking one in the bleachers at Nationals Park in this game. If Turner keeps hitting like this, watch out for Washington in the postseason.
