VIDEO: Trevor Lawrence Scores on Quarterback Keeper for 1st Clemson TD of 2019

Did you really expect anybody else to record Clemson's first touchdown of the 2019 campaign? Georgia Tech muffed a punt that set up Dabo Swinney's offense with a short field inside the Yellow Jackets' red zone early in the first quarter Thursday night. And quarterback phenom Trevor Lawrence ultimately pounced on the opportunity by scampering into the endzone for a six-yard touchdown on a QB keeper.

It may not always come via a designed run, but college football fans should absolutely get used to associating Lawrence's name with the word "touchdown" in 2019. Thursday night's opening score will be the first of many for the Heisman hopeful.
