VIDEO: Trevor Plouffe Has Funny Response to Blake Snell's NSFW Take on Rays-Padres Trade
By Sean Facey

Blake Snell's reaction to the Tampa Bay Rays' trade of Tommy Pham to the San Diego Padres instantly went viral Thursday night. After all, it's not every day that you get to hear a former Cy Young winner call one of the players coming back in the deal a "slapd--k prospect." With the clip making rounds on social media, former Rays infielder Trevor Plouffe provided his own hilarious take on the situation using Snell's own words to jokingly describe his young son.
Definitely a slapdick prospect ??? pic.twitter.com/oCOklKQiRD

It's just dripping with sarcasm. After all, with a swing like that, the young guy will be working his way up to the show in no time at all!
I’m sure Snell is taking a bunch of heat for what he said, but the truth is that all prospects are slapdicks until they prove that they aren’t.

There's nothing quite like some father-son batting practice to put a loving spin on an otherwise tense situation.

With wholesome content like this flooding Twitter, though, it's safe to say it's going to be a while before Snell is able to live this one down.
