VIDEO: Twins' Byron Buxton Leaves Game After Violent Collision With Wall
In game two of a short series, the Minnesota Twins faced off against the Milwaukee Brewers at home with the hope of coming back and tying things up. Instead, they might've lost one of their most steady contributors.
At the beginning of the second inning, Twins center-fielder Byron Buxton tried his luck and jumped full force into the chain fence wall in front of the bullpen to try and make a highlight-reel catch. Unfortunately, because Buxton was moving with such force, instead of running up the wall and making the catch, he ended up colliding violently with the wall.
After a short pause, Buxton was able to hop back up and appeared fine as he tried to walk off the collision. For what we hope were precautionary, reasons he was removed from the game.
