VIDEO: Twins Dugout Getting Absolutely Flooded Before Scheduled Game Against Mets
By Brian Cass
With the Minnesota Twins set to host the New York Mets Tuesday night, it appears that the stadium maintenance staff will have their hands full preparing the field for play -- especially their hometown dugout. With rain pouring down in Minnesota, the Twins dugout got completely flooded about two hours before their scheduled game.
Luckily, the field staff will have plenty of time to get the field and dugout ready for Tuesday's ball game, as the game isn't scheduled to start until 8:10 p.m. ET. According to the weather report, there's only a 15% chance of rain once the game starts, so hopefully the two teams won't experience any kind of rain delay.
If the field is dry enough to play on when the game is scheduled to start, we should be in for a solid matchup between the AL Central-leading Twins and the Mets.
