VIDEO: Ty Lue Completely Disregards Rich Paul's Attempted Handshake
By Michael Luciano
Once thought to be a mouthpiece for LeBron James, Ty Lue appears to be no fan of James' agent, the controversial Rich Paul. Lue, who hired as the top assistant on Doc Rivers' Los Angeles Clippers staff, completely blew past Paul before the Clippers faced off against James and the Los Angeles Lakers, as Paul's wish for a handshake went unrequited.
Lue, who was fired after losing his first six games in charge of the Cleveland Cavaliers without LeBron, had a job with the Lakers lined up, but talks broke down, leading to him taking an assistant job across town.
Perhaps Lue is still peeved that Paul's clients probably cost him his job in Cleveland. After James left for LA, Lue was saddled with two Klutch Sports clients in Tristan Thompson and JR Smith that were making in excess of $9 million per year.
Paul has quickly made himself a lot of enemies in the NBA circle, and now Lue can be counted amongst them.
