VIDEO: UConn's Anthony Prato Makes Absurd Diving Play to Save Third Baseman From Embarrassment
By Parker White

I don't care what level of baseball you are watching, this is one of the greatest (and most alert) plays you'll ever see from an infielder. UConn's Anthony Prato is your typical light-hitting shortstop, and the reason he's on the field is because of plays like this. Check out Prato making an insane diving play in foul territory to save his third baseman's bacon.

What a catch from @UConnBSB's Anthony Prato. #RoadToOmahapic.twitter.com/AqKxLjFQSL
LOOK AT THE GROUND HE COVERS!
The Huskies third baseman was trying to shield his eyes from the sun so he could catch a routine pop up, but Prato realized quickly that he couldn't see it and he came out of nowhere, making a ridiculous diving catch for the first out of the inning.

Diving catch to help David Langer, who couldn't see pop up in foul ground!
It's one thing to get there and make an attempt at catching it, but he snagged it before it could touch the ground. Oh, and he saved his teammate from total embarrassment.
Win-win-win, as UConn tries to advance in the field for the College World Series.
