VIDEO: Umpire Completely Screws Cubs With Missed Strike 3 Call in 10th Inning Against Cardinals

The Chicago Cubs and St. Louis Cardinals were locked in an intense duel that reached extra frames. Chicago turned to Dillon Maples late in the game. And during a full count with a runner on second in the bottom of the 10th inning, the umpire completely whiffed on what should have been a third strike call.

Look at where that pitch ends up on the pitch tracker. It's not even borderline! That pitch is well in the strike zone, and instead of getting the second out of the inning, the Cubs were facing two baserunners with just one out.
The team lost the game in the same inning after a base hit walked the Cardinals off, but this controversial walk was a big reason why momentum shifted in the game. Robot umps, anyone?
