VIDEO: UNC Freshman QB Sam Howell Throws Absurd Glitch of a Pass Through South Carolina DB's Hands
By Adam Weinrib

There's a lot of enthusiasm in Chapel Hill, North Carolina these days, on the heels (pun intended) of Mack Brown's return and true freshman QB Sam Howell's impressive poise. Howell led Carolina back against the South Carolina Gamecocks on Saturday afternoon, but he had a little luck on his side as well. On this particular glitch-ball, Howell bent time and space to thread the needle past the Gamecocks defense.
This Sam Howell pass has to be a glitch ??

This remarkable comeback had everything; two elite drives by Howell, a fourth-down kneeldown at midfield by the Heels that made legitimately zero sense, and a scoop-and-score to end it as time expired, removing all doubt.
Sam Howell, a freshmen QB, just led 98-yard and 95-yard drives for touchdowns in the 4th quarter to take the lead against South Carolina.

There's a lot to love here, but there's also a lot to not understand. For the life of us, we don't know how we got to this point. Somebody broke the Matrix.
