VIDEO: UNC's Storm Duck, Player With Best Name Ever, Takes Pick-6 to the House Against Temple
By Michael Luciano
The North Carolina Tar Heels are steamrolling the Temple Owls in the Military Bowl, and their defense locking down Rod Carey's crew is a big reason why. The eloquently-named Storm Duck gave Sam Howell even more support as he ran an Anthony Russo interception back to the house, extending the Tar Heels' lead to 33-6.
Duck, a 3-star talent who was a key part of Mack Brown's integral recruiting class in his second stint in Chapel Hill, has made 32 tackles his freshman season as a Tar Heel. He was named after "The Bold And Beautiful" character Storm Logan and is quickly making a name for himself (no pun intended) as a Tar Heel.
Duck is more than just a funny name. In fact, he's an integral part of a North Carolina defense that has helped turn the Tar Heels from unwatchable to one of the most intriguing teams in the league heading into 2020.
