VIDEO: Victor Robles Throws a Perfect Strike Which Beats Joey Votto to the Plate By a Mile
By Daniel Marcillo
The cannon of Washington Nationals outfielder Victor Robles strikes again. He fired a missile to gun down Cincinnati Reds first baseman Joey Votto for his eighth assist this season, and this one wasn't particularly close.
Votto never stood a chance, and is likely regretting the decision to test Robles' arm, considering he ranks third in the National League in outfield assists.
The perfect throw prevented the Reds from tacking on another run in the first inning, though Jesse Winker's game-opening solo shot still stung.
