VIDEO: Vikings' Mike Zimmer Apparently Sneaks Chewing Tobacco From Sunflower Seeds Bag on Sideline
By Ryan Giglio

Bad habits clearly die slowly for Mike Zimmer, as the head coach of the Minnesota Vikings was once again apparently caught chewing tobacco on the sidelines during a game.
Did Mike Zimmer just pull a dip of chewing tobacco out of a bag of sunflower seeds!? #SEAvsMIN @NFLonFOX @EvanHillSEA pic.twitter.com/zrC1Ximj6u

Cameras caught Zimmer seemingly sneaking chewing tobacco into his mouth from a sunflower seeds bag.
The NFL's policy regarding the use of tobacco and alcohol on game day says, "Players and other club and League employees (including game officials) must not use alcohol or tobacco products while in the playing field area or while being interviewed on television."
It's obvious Zimmer is aware of these rules, hence the use of the sunflower seed bag to cover up the dip.
Zimmer was caught on camera in 2015 for doing the exact same thing.
If anything it will be a brush off fine. I found an article and video of him doing the same routine back in 2015: https://t.co/9ovkHWaG9W

Surprisingly, the use of dip is just as prevalent in the NFL as it is in MLB. Former Browns GM Phil Savage once told ESPN that chewing tobacco is used "from high-profile coaches down to low-level staffers."
Nonetheless, you have to give Zimmer an A for effort here. His attempt at a cover-up was certainly crafty.
