VIDEO: Vlad Guerrero Jr. Brilliantly Dodges Tag at 3rd Base With Tricky Slide
By Scott Rogust

Sometimes, those swimming lessons can come in handy. Even in baseball. During Thursday night's Toronto Blue Jays-Tampa Bay Rays game, rookie Vladimir Guerrero Jr. found himself standing on second base. After a routine flyout to left field, Guerrero tagged second and turned on the jets as he made his way to third. The throw made it to third base before Vlad did, but the phenom utilized a nice swim move to avoid the Joey Wendle tag and touched the bag first.

Vlad Guerrero Jr showcased a left stroke that Michael Phelps would be proud of. More of this, young man!
