VIDEO: Vlad Guerrero Jr. Unloads Towering 450-Foot Bomb for 2nd Homer of the Night
By Scott Rogust
He may have been born with a famous namesake, but Toronto Blue Jays rookie Vladimir Guerrero Jr. is becoming a household name in Major League Baseball in his own right thanks in large part to his ridiculous power. On Thursday night, Vlad Jr. had already hit a home run against the Baltimore Orioles, but in the top of the eighth inning with a 8-1 lead, he absolutely destroyed a Dillon Tate pitch 450 feet to left field of Camden Yards. Boom.
Guerrero's solo homer was hit so hard that fans and security guards actually had to flee from the ball. You would have, too.
Prepare for many more years of Vlad Guerrero Jr. sending baseballs into orbit. It's just what he does. He was born this way.
