VIDEO: Vladimir Guerrero Jr.'s Rampage Continues With Go-Ahead Home Run Against White Sox
By Ryan Flores
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. struggled a bit when he first came into the MLB, but it's clear that he's starting to come into his own. Guerrero just hit his FOURTH home run this week, flashing that incredibly high upside everyone knows he has.
The two-run homer put the Blue Jays up 3-1 in the top of the eighth, giving the them a chance to split the four-game series with a Ken Giles save.
In his last eight games, Guerrero Jr. has hit .370, with four homers and nine RBI. After his early struggles, it's safe to say that Vladito is settling in at the plate and is beginning to come into his own. Guerrero Jr. has now hit two bombs in the series against the Chicago White Sox, with his other two home runs coming in a single game against the San Francisco Giants. He's the youngest to homer twice in a game since Manny Machado did it in 2012.
The Blue Jays clearly have a bright future with Guerrero Jr. manning the hot corner. How bright, however, is completely up to him.
