VIDEO: Walker Buehler Has NSFW Exchange With DBacks' Ildemaro Vargas After Striking Him Out

Walker Buehler struck out Ildemaro Vargas on a 3-2, 98 mph fastball in the fifth inning of Monday’s game between the Los Angeles Dodgers and Arizona Diamondbacks. He dared the young infielder to try and hit his best pitch, and when he couldn't, the Dodgers hurler made sure that his victim didn't forget it on his way back to the bench where he belongs:

Anyone out there a lip-reader?

Vargas did come up later in the eighth and single off Buehler, but the two did not trade words like they did a few innings prior. Clearly, the message had already been sent.

Buehler got the last laugh, though, as his Dodgers won the game by a score of 3-1. He allowed one run and two hits to go along with 11 strikeouts in eight innings pitched. It doesn't get much prettier than that.

The 24-year-old flamethrower will look to build off this strong outing, adding to his already impressive run as of late. In his last seven starts, Buehler is 4-1 with a 2.84 ERA with 51 strikeouts and just four walks.

If the youngster keeps pitching like this, I doubt the Dodgers will give him a day off. Not with all this winning.
