VIDEO: Watch 5-Star DE Myles Murphy Announce Commitment to Clemson

The Clemson Tigers can't stop winning both on and off the field! On Friday night, Dabo Swinney added a MAJOR piece to his 2020 recruiting class, as 5-star defensive end Myles Murphy announced his commitment to the reigning National Champions.

Another massive get for Swinney and his coaching staff? Oh baby, you better believe it.

Murphy is ranked the No. 2 defensive end in the country and No. 8 player overall by 247Sports. He pledged to Clemson over additional offers from Alabama, Auburn, Florida, Georgia and many other schools.

This one might hurt for Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs, as Murphy is a Georgia native and is ranked the No. 1 prospect from the state. Instead of staying home, he'll be taking his talents to Clemson.

The Tigers hold the No. 1 recruiting class for 2020 as of this writing, with 15 hard commits. Of their verbals, five players are ranked 5-star recruits. Yup, things are going pretty darn well for Swinney right now. That's an understatement.
