The Ohio State Buckeyes just put the hurt on Miami Ohio, taking down the Redbirds in a brutal 76-5 beatdown. Quarterback Justin Fields was absolutely sensational, needing only the second quarter to turn in SIX touchdowns, two via the ground paired with four passing scores.

The Buckeyes entered the quarter with a 7-5 lead, but by the time Fields was done inflicting damage, the scoreboard read 49-5. He was simply unstoppable out there, carving up the defense with both his arm and legs.
In all, Fields completed 14-of-21 passes for 223 yards and the four touchdowns, while rushing nine times for 36 yards and two scores.

He's now responsible for an FBS-best 19 touchdowns on the year, as he's got this Ohio State offense off to a sensational start in his first year as a starting signal caller at the college level.
Transferring from the shadow of Jake Fromm may have been the best decision of Fields' life, as he's showcasing just how good he is in Columbus.
