VIDEO: Watch All Three of Kris Bryant's Home Runs Against the Nationals on Friday

Kris Bryant is hot, and I mean RED-HOT. The Cubs' star third baseman is in the midst of a 26-game on-base streak, and he more than achieved the feat on Friday night. Bryant went yard not once, not twice, but THREE times against the Nationals, in what was one of the best games of the former NL MVP's career.

His first of the day came in the seventh inning, but there was a lot more baseball to be played in this one.

He blasted his second of the day in the eighth inning, as the runs really began to flow late in this game.

And why not cap off the night with a third blast in the span of three innings, KB?

Kris Bryant has become the first Chicago Cub to have a three home run game since... he did it himself back in 2016. Well, just now he's just adding more to the storybooks that will be written about his time in Chicago.

What a night for the 27-year-old as despite his early season struggles, he's been one of the hottest hitters in baseball of late. He's up to 11 homers on the year now, almost surpassing his tally from the 2018 season.
