VIDEO: Watch Eddie Rosario Crank 2-Run Shot to Give Twins Lead Over Yankees
By Sean Facey
The Minnesota Twins aren't going to let Tuesday's jaw-dropping extra-innings loss get them down. The offense got things going early in the series finale as Eddie Rosario cranked a towering two-run home run off of New York Yankees starter JA Happ to give his team a 2-0 lead early in the bottom of the first inning.
It certainly had the height to get out. Rosario's 22nd blast of the year had a 43.49 degree launch angle.
However, it wouldn't be a stretch to say that it was a lucky shot. The home run only had a .080 expected batting average according to Statcast. But considering the Yankees answered right back with four runs of their own, the Twins will need more than just that blast to take home a win.
