Freddie Freeman is absolutely locked in at the plate right now. In the top of the first inning, the Atlanta Braves first baseman hit an absolute rocket into the upper deck off of Miami Marlins pitcher Jose Ureña.

That's now Freeman's fourth home run in just six games. He's clearly making a push to become the starter at first base in the MLB All-Star game. In his last 16 games Freeman has hit .283 with 6 homers, 10 RBI and 12 runs scored. He's been completely unconscious at the plate.
Freeman is now hitting .308 with 17 homers and 39 RBI. He's on pace for yet another fantastic season in Atlanta in an effort to get the Braves back to the playoffs.
