VIDEO: Watch Jalen Hurts Do it All and Dominate Houston for 6 Touchdowns in Oklahoma Sooners Debut
By Mark Powell

Jalen Hurts' moment has arrived, the now-Oklahoma Sooners quarterback made his impact felt in a big way in OU's first game against the Houston Cougars. Lincoln Riley's offense has featured back-to-back Heisman winners in Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray, and he's hoping to add Hurts to that exclusive list. On Sunday night, Hurts put on a show with six total touchdowns against the Cougars.

Hurts flashed the ability to make plays with his arm and his legs, and even had over 100 rush yards in the first half to tie an Oklahoma record.
While the Houston defense isn't as strong as the likes of which Hurts will face in the Big 12, the Cougars did pose a substantial threat to OU, as Dana Holgorsen's group did make a bowl game last season at 8-5.

Hurts isn't satisfied, and that's part of what makes him such an exceptional leader. While not obvious to the naked eye, Hurts and Oklahoma surely have much to improve on heading into Week 2.
