VIDEO: Watch Jose Altuve Put Houston on Top With 2-Run Homer in Game 1 of ALDS
By Parker White

Tyler Glasnow was pretty impressive in his first ever postseason start, blowing fastball after fastball by the Houston hitters, but that wasn't going to last forever. Astros star Jose Altuve welcomed him to the big stage with a two-run homer in the fifth, giving Houston a 2-0 lead.

That was 98 mph center-cut. Yeah, this offense isn't going to let that slide very often, much less to a former AL MVP.
Jose Altuve, who hit three homers in Game 1 of the ALDS in 2017, has put the Astros on top with a two-runs shot.

This was also the third straight year that Altuve has homered in Game 1 of the ALDS. So, in that case, it was only a matter of time until he went bridge.
