A battle of top prospects went down in Scranton Tuesday night, as Yankees pitcher Deivi Garcia got the best of White Sox prospect Luis Robert. Garcia dominated Robert with a sequence of nasty pitches in the first inning.

Perfect watching material while we wait for the big league Yanks to leave their rain delay.

This at-bat alone shows the understanding Garcia has of how to pitch effectively. With two strikes on Robert, Garcia used the zone effectively to try and get Robert to chase something off the plate. There's no reason to give a stud like Robert something to hit, especially ahead in the count like that.

After a couple takes, he made Robert look foolish with a slider down and away. It was sheer dominance by the youngster. If Garcia continues on this trajectory, he will dominate the MLB in the near future.
