VIDEO: Western Carolina Punter Caleb Ferguson Scores on Ridiculous 70-Yard Fake Play

Week 5 of college football is still fairly young, but the best trick play of Saturday's slate of games (and perhaps the entire season) has come from the most unlikely of places. With Western Carolina trailing Chattanooga 20-7 with just under nine minutes remaining in the fourth quarter, the Catamounts opted to call a fake punt on a fourth and four inside their own territory in hopes to catch the opposition off guard. What transpired was utterly bewildering as WCU's Caleb Ferguson displayed athleticism that you almost never see at the punter position and took the direct snap 70 yards to the house.

We're no experts, but something tells us that Ferguson should immediately be converted to WCU's starting running back. Punter's should not possess THAT kind of speed.

The Mocs were clearly not prepared for the fake as their defense didn't even manage to knock Ferguson off balance during the 70-yard scamper.

What a play.
