VIDEO: White Sox Rookie Dylan Cease Makes Starbucks Run for Teammates Between Games Tuesday

Most professional sports teams feature rookie hazing as a way to acclimate the young players into the team environment. From popcorn-filled cars to childish backpacks, teams across the country have fun with the rookies.
The White Sox clearly prescribe to that idea, and are going strong deep into the season with the rookie chores.

Rookie Dylan Cease was sent on a Starbucks run for the team in full uniform between games of a doubleheader on Tuesday for the Sox. The team was in Detroit, and sent the rook into unfamiliar territory on a coffee run.
It's good to see the White Sox are still having fun during a disappointing season. Even with the current three-game win streak, Chicago is 50-61 on the season.
Cease has struggled since being called up, posting a 1-4 record in five starts in the big leagues. He owns a 6.43 ERA and 27 strikeouts in 28 innings of work this season.
Cease could be an important piece for the future, but this season is pretty much a wash for Chicago. I'm sure the White Sox are hoping this Starbucks run is the "tough love" Cease needs to help him fully develop into an All-Star.
Or they just wanted some coffee.
