VIDEO: 'Wisconsin Udder Tuggers' Are the Most Ridiculous Minor League Rebrand Yet

Naming a new sports team or rebranding an existing one can be difficult, as so many of the best names are already taken. This is especially true for minor league baseball clubs that play in the shadows of the big leagues, but the new coat of paint slapped onto one Wisconsin minor league team has claimed the title for most absurd sports team name ever. I present... The Wisconsin Udder Tuggers.

I pity the poor souls who had to walk out the darkness like they're superheroes only to reveal "Udder Tuggers" on the front of their uniforms.

The Milwaukee Brewers Class-A team's previous name -- the Timber Rattlers -- wasn't a whole lot better, but Udder Tuggers? Was there really not an another name or some unknown animal that could've been used? Or something cheese-related?

There are plenty of other wacky team names in the minor leagues, such as the Rocky Mountain Vibes and New Orleans Baby Cakes, but this one easily takes the cake for most the ridiculous of all.

At the very least, the players that have the wear this embarrassing name across their uniform should garner some attention. The team might not be the most talented in the Midwest League, but nobody is going to get more attention in the near future-- for better or for worse.
