VIDEO: Woj Names Heat as Legitimate Trade Destination for Russell Westbrook
By Brian Cass

After Paul George was traded to the Los Angeles Clippers to join Kawhi Leonard, Oklahoma City's other superstar Russell Westbrook and his agent are reportedly open to a trade this summer as well. With all the major moves this free agency already cemented, finding a team with the assets to trade for Westbrook could be difficult. But according the ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, the Miami Heat are a trade destination worth keeping an eye on for Westbrook.

Pairing Westbrook with Jimmy Butler would be interesting dynamic to watch this NBA season if this trade ever does come to fruition. Although Russ has lost a bit of shine since being named MVP in 2016-17, he's still one of the most explosive players in the game and would provide the Heat with another All-Star player to help fill the seats at American Airlines Arena.

With the amount of roster turnover we've seen in the East this offseason, it seems like any contending team could have a shot at taking the conference title in 2019-20. A Butler-Westbrook duo would certainly give the Heat a chance to make noise.
