Rafael Devers is arguably the hottest hitter in baseball right now, and it seems that the Indians have caught onto that. After giving up eight consecutive hits to the Sox third baseman, they finally retired him on Wednesday, but rather than pitch to him in the seventh inning, they decided to give him the free pass and go after Xander Bogaerts. Big mistake.

Bogey made them pay for underestimating him, launching a three-run blast off reliever Nick Goody to give the Sox a 5-1 lead over the Tribe.
It was the 26th round-tripper of the year for the X-Man, as he's already surpassed his career-high in the category in just 118 games.
