Yes, X-Man, you have permission to touch 'em all! After a bit of confusion as to whether his big blast to left field actually cleared the Green Monster, Xander Bogaerts was assured after sliding into second base that he had, in fact, hit his 19th dinger of the year.

The sweet swing from the All-Star shortstop gave the defending champion Red Sox their first run of the game, halving the lead held by the Los Angeles Dodgers, the team they defeated in the 2018 World Series.
The night is young at Fenway. Expect more fireworks from these two teams before all's said and done.
