By Ryan Giglio
After tying the game two innings prior, Yadier Molina kept the clutch going and won the NLDS Game 4 for St. Louis with a walk-off sacrifice fly in the 10th inning against Julio Teheran and the Atlanta Braves. The thrilling victory forces a winner-takes-all Game 5 on Wednesday.
The 37-year-old finished the game 1-4 with the game's two biggest RBI. Though he his hitting just .188 with a .410 OPS in the series, the veteran proved on Monday why he's so invaluable to the Cardinals-- and why his status in the annals of the team's history is assuredly legendary.
The bat toss was legendary, too.
Show of hands if you had any idea that this series would end up giving us so many big-time nail-biting moments! We are not worthy.
