VIDEO: Yankees Bench Reaction to Clint Frazier's Home Run is Hilariously Dead

The New York Yankees have gotten off to a great start to the 2019 season. Having compiled a 38-21 record, they sit atop the AL East standings by 2.5 games over the Tampa Bay Rays. A large portion of that success can be attributed to the long ball, where the Bombers rank fourth among all MLB teams in home runs. But when Clint Frazier launched one into the stands at the Rogers Centre on Tuesday to give the Yanks a 2-0 lead, it certainly seemed like his teammates...weren't overjoyed. Frazier's personal redemption tour after a media storm this weekend hasn't gotten off to the best start.

Those lifeless claps seem more suited for a golf course than an MLB stadium.

Of course, Frazier's had a tough week, making multiple defensive gaffes on Sunday night against the Boston Red Sox, then ducking the media in a postgame scrum, forcing his teammates to answer for his miscues. He then checked in with the media prior to Tuesday's game, playing the victim and rattling off quotes about how his entire time in New York has been marked by disrespect.

We'll try not to read to much into this bench reaction, and we hope this minor discord will dissipate shortly while Frazier continues to mash. Definitely seemed like his teammates would've rather someone else had broken a scoreless deadlock, though, doesn't it?
